Dr Burzynski: Cancer is Serious Business

Dr Stanislaw Burzinski MD’s Antineoplaston Therapy

This is the story of a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski , and his belief in and commitment to gene-targeted cancer medicines, which he discovered in the 1970′s called Antineoplastons.

Antineoplastons have already completed Phase II FDA-supervised clinical trials (2009), and began their final phase of testing in 2010; and when Antineoplastons are approved, it will mark the first time in history that a single scientist, not big pharma, will hold the exclusive patent and distribution rights on a paradigm-shifting, life-saving medical breakthrough.

Antineoplastons have undoubtedly proved they are responsible for curing some of the most incurable forms of terminal cancer!

Furthermore,  Dr Burzynski, rather than being hailed for his cancer breakthrough, conversely, has had to battled with the United States government for trying to suppress his work and results. Amazingly, this led Burzynski on to win the largest and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food & Drug Administration in American history!

In the film you’ll hear from  hear from the various cancer survivors who chose Dr Burzynski’s treatment instead of surgery, or the toxic, carcinogenic treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation – with full disclosure of their original medical records to support their diagnosis and recovery.

One form of cancer – “diffuse, intrinsic, childhood brainstem glioma” has never before been cured in any experimental clinical trial in the history of medicine. Antineoplastons hold the first cures in history – dozens of them.

Burzynski takes the audience through the treacherous, yet victorious, 14-year journey, where both Dr. Burzynski and his patients have had to endure in order to obtain FDA-approved clinical trials of Antineoplastons.

However, what was revealed a few years after Dr. Burzynski won his freedom, helps to paint a more coherent picture regarding the true motivation of the U.S. government’s relentless prosecution of Stanislaw Burzysnki, M.D., Ph.D.

Watch the film here:

Burzynski The Movieand discover that cancer is very serious busine$$ indeed!

…and wonder – is the UK any better?

Prostate PSA Screening; What is the Score?

Prostate PSA Screening – What’s the Score?

It wouldn’t take you much digging around to find some really controversial information about the whole of the cancer industry – and that’s why – it is an industry worth billions of dollars!

A study funded by the Lance Armstrong Foundation estimated that the global cancer industry was worth $305 billion (2009), and it’s estimated that the industry could be worth $638 billion by 2030!

Now, the latest cancer industry revelation is regarding the lack of benefit from having Prostate PSA Screening, but rather the potential harm it could cause!

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in British men, with about 37,000 diagnosed with the disease in 2008 and 10,170 dying of it.

For the first time ever, the longest study on prostate cancer comes from a 20 year survey of more than 9,000 Swedish men. Paid for by the Swedish Cancer Foundation and other groups, the results were published 31 March 2011 in the British Medical Journal (BMJ).

The study found that the men who were checked for tumours were no more likely to survive the disease than those who were not!

9,026 men were selected, with 1,494 given tests every third year between 1987 and 1996, and the rest acting as controls. Those who had contracted prostate cancer by 1999 were identified: 85 of whom (5.7%) had undergone screening and 292 (3.9%) who had not.

They were tracked over the following decade and researchers at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm say the results “did not show significantly longer survival or overall survival for men with prostate cancer in the screened group compared with the control group”.

While screening and treating men with detected tumours might reduce deaths specifically from prostate cancer by up to a third (at best), this would be at considerable risk of worrying over-detection and unpleasant or harmful overtreatment.”

The fear now is that widespread screenings for prostate cancer are likely to lead to many men to undergo unnecessary treatment, without actually preventing death. The standard PSA blood test looks for high levels of prostate specific antigen, and the test is controversial because the PSA level can be high for many reasons – and a positive result must be confirmed by a biopsy.

These false positive tests can cause significant harm, including psychological distress and treatments that can cause impotence and incontinence.

The authors of the study say “men should be warned before screening about the potential risks of cancer treatment, and the effects on their lives of wrongly being told they have a dangerous tumour”.

Even in 1993, the British Medical Journal Lancet published a study that showed early screening often lead to unnecessary treatment; after the of age 75, half of males may have prostate cancer, but mortality rates only range from 0.1-2.4%. More specifically, the overall 5-year relative prostate cancer survival rate for 1995-2002 was 99%. The 5-year relative prostate cancer survival rates by race were 99.9% for white men and 97.6% for black men, regardless whether they had few or no signs or symptoms of prostate cancer, were free of disease, or had treatment.

Government recommendations (August 2008) called for oncologists to no longer treat men with prostate cancer past the age of 75 years because the treatments do more harm than good and offer no advantages over no treatment at all.

Another way of looking at it…

Best selling author Andreas Moritz ‘s Cancer is not a Disease – It’s a Survival Mechanism is a book that may rock or even dismantle the very foundation of your beliefs about the body, health and healing, as it offers the open-minded reader concerned about cancer a radically different understanding of what cancer really is.

Today’s conventional approaches of killing, cutting or burning cancerous cells offer a mere 7% “success” rate for cancer remission, and the majority of the few survivors are “cured” for just a period of five years or less. In his book, you will discover what actually causes cancer and why it is so important to heal the whole person, not just the symptoms of cancer. You will also learn that cancer occurs only after all other defence mechanisms in the body have failed. A malignant tumour is not a vicious monster that is out to kill us in retaliation for our sins or abuse of our body. As you will find out, cancer does not attempt to kill the body; to the contrary, it tries to save it. However, unless we change our perception of what cancer really is, it will continue to threaten the life of one out of every two people.

Finally…

Dis-ease doesn’t happen to us, it happens because of us!

What lifestyle do you lead? What food do you eat? Do you exercise? Note the running theme – you are in control of all of these areas.

You can logically conclude that a healthy mindset and lifestyle can beget a long and healthy life. Not just reaching old age, but having a quality of life in your old age.

What you can do for your health, whether its for your prostate or another area of your body?

Prevention is always going to be better than cure!

Please note that none of the above information is intended to dissuade you away from allopathic treatment, but rather to encourage you to take a good look at yourself and explore the reasons why you are ailing, if indeed you are, and to work with those, as well as seek medical advice from a good health care practitioner.

Barleygrass

Barleygrass, or Barley Grass, is one of the easiest ways to get your recommended daily intake of greens. It is a powerful light green Superfood which contains 18 different amino acids and is a superior source of vegetarian protein.

Barleygrass is packed with a variety of vitamins and minerals, including: beta carotene, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, five different B Vitamins (including vitamin B12), calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus.

Barleygrass by Nutri Health

Green Superfoods have the highest concentrations of easily digestible nutrients, fat burning compounds, vitamins and minerals – all of which help protect and heal your body. They contain a wide array of beneficial substances including proteins, protective photo-chemicals and healthy bacteria, helping you to build cleaner muscles and tissues, aid your digestive system function and more effectively protect you against disease and illness.

Furthermore, Green Superfoods are extremely rich in chlorophyll – the pigment that gives plants their green colour.

The molecular structure of chlorophyll is very similar to that of human blood and studies show that when this is consumed, the production of haemoglobin in blood is increased. Higher amounts of haemoglobin in the bloodstream means more oxygen-rich blood, the first and most important element that cells need to thrive.

Barleygrass has 11 times more calcium than cows’ milk, 5 times more iron than spinach and 7 times more Vitamin C and bio-flavonoids than orange juice. It also contains significant amounts of vitamin B12, which is very important particularly in a vegetarian or vegan diet.

The carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins and minerals that Barleygrass contains are all easily assimilated by the human body. This provides instant access to the nutrients, thus allowing the body to start making use of the nutrients within a matter of minutes.

The key benefits of Barleygrass:

• Fills nutritional gaps in the diet

• Packed with antioxidants, chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins and amino acids

• Chlorophyll-rich, which mean it is a great blood cleanser

• Great for liver detox

• Has a strong alkalising effect

• Supports the immune system

• An easy, palatable way to get the health benefits of green vegetables

• Superior source of vegetable protein

Mix the tahini with the raw cacao powder in a bowl and add all the other ingredients mixing well as you go.

Should you want to add more of the agave syrup or honey add it slowly and taste as you go.

If you can still taste the tahini too strongly, then add some more of the raw cacao powder, and if the mixture is too runny, add even more cacao powder so the truffle mixture is stiff enough to roll into balls.

When your truffle balls are rolled to the size of regular chocolate truffles, then sprinkle raw cacao powder and shelled hemp seeds on a plate and roll each ball in it to cover completely.

Store in the fridge – if they last that long!

You may want to dust in raw cacao powder before serving, if the balls have absorbed the cacao.

Bee Pollen is especially beneficial for the extra nutritional and energy needs of athletes or if you are recovering from illness. Pollen is often used as a natural antidote for fighting allergies, particularly hay fever and sinusitis.

The name ‘Bee Pollen’ is actually a misnomer, as it’s the pollen produced by the flowers and then collected by the bees.

It’s good to know that the Bee Pollen sold by Nutri Health is collected by bees from a pristine, pollution-free environment, with care and regard for the welfare of the bees. The pollen comes to us in granular form and tastes very similar to honey.

What are Superfoods – Week3 – Raw Cacao

RAW CACAO POWDER

Cacao (ka-kow) is called a superfood because it is quite simply one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. Cacao is one of the best dietary sources of sulphur and magnesium, and is a positive powerhouse of minerals, along with many other health supporting elements.

Cacao is made by taking the raw cacao bean and pressing it at carefully regulated temperatures to remove the oils. To explain the difference between ‘Cacao’ and cocoa – commercial chocolate is processed by being subjected to scorching temperatures of up to 150°C and added with solvents; both of which destroy any nutrients and antioxidants.

During the processing of Raw Cacao, the temperature never exceeds 40°C, thus the heat-sensitive vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants remain intact.

The resulting Cacao is possibly the most concentrated source of antioxidants found in any food, 500 times richer than blueberries with a flavonol antioxidant count of a massive 10%!

Cacao is actually one of the most complex food substances on earth. It is made up of water, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre, iron, calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C and E and at least 300 other identifiable chemical compounds and possibly up to 1,200 chemical constituents. Raw Cacao contains high amounts of magnesium – the most common deficient major mineral, even following a balanced diet.

It’s interesting to note that many women before and during their monthly-cycle, crave chocolate. Actually, it’s the magnesium content their body is after, rather than a sugar laden, fat rich, commercial bar which doesn’t offer any nutritional satiety. Whereas eating some Raw Cacao could be actually be the answer!

And there’s more…

If you feel that you are not getting enough iron – one small 28 gram serving of Raw Cacao (beans) gives you 314% of the recommended daily allowance of iron, plus an antioxidant (ORAC) score of 95,500, and to put that into perspective – that’s 14 times more antioxidant flavonoids than red wine and 21 times more than green tea!

And maybe the best bit…

Cacao has an abundance of natural anti-stress and anti-depressant compounds. It is known to help alleviate depression and create feelings of wellbeing and contentment, as it contains serotonin, tryptophan, anandamide, dopamine, phenylethylamine (PEA) and monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors – all of which are well documented  as having a positive effect on brain chemistry.

The key benefits of Cacao:

• It’s chocolate!!

• Free from sugar and dairy

• A powerful antioxidant

• A nutritional powerhouse; an excellent source of sulphur and magnesium

• Easy to use: Cacao Powder can replace cocoa powder in any recipe

• Known to boost good mood

• Can help you stay alert, focused and positive

• Loved by adults and kids alike

• Cacao Powder by Nutri Health is raw, vegan and pesticide free

Quick directions for using Cacao Powder:

• Delicious in smoothies, breakfasts or on desserts. Click here to view video of Raw Cacao Shake – Easy and Tasty

• Can replace cocoa powder in any recipe.

• Particularly good for making chocolate spreads, icings on cake, raw chocolate bars and puddings.

Remember though, for maximum nutritional benefits – Eat Your Cacao Raw – don’t cook with it!

Is Mesquite a Novel Food?

UK Trading Standards are trying to make Mesquite Meal (Powder) into a ‘novel food’ under EU government law.

“A novel food is defined as a food or food ingredient that does not have a significant history of consumption within the EU before 15 May 1997.” FSA

This means that Mesquite – despite being a traditional Native American food that has been used for centuries, could be made into an illegal food throughout the whole of the UK and Europe.

So what!” you may think – and don’t be fooled by any false sense of protection…

What this really means is, because Big Pharma cannot patent a pure, unadulterated food because it’s natural – it has put pressure on government to make laws up that look like they are protecting you from harm, but have an ulterior motive, and take away YOUR freedom of choice.

Rather that let you read about Mesquite or any other food or product for yourself, and assess whether it’s something that you would like to try – your choice is being completely removed from the onset.

Basically you are being treated you like you are stupid, under the guise of protecting you.

Or put another way, your demand for natural health has hurt the pockets of the drug companies. The pharmaceutical industry pulls some of the largest strings in government and tugs at them very hard when it loses money. So governments have responded by tying up the natural health sector in regulatory knots and making crazy laws that only benefit Big Pharma and the other businesses involved.

Am I ranting because it affects my business? You know – I am far more outraged by my freedom of choice being removed. I am also far more passionate about you knowing about what’s going on, and about you taking responsibility for your own health.

I am in this business for the love of promoting good health and vitality, genuinely wishing you a happy and vibrant life – not sleep-walking in a suppressed pharmaceutical haze.

Who died of an overdose of vitamins? Or Goji Berries or Chia Seeds (yes, they were on the novel food list too)? Yet, cigarettes, alcohol, cancer-feeding sugar, genetically modified food – the world’s largest human experiment, unlicensed pharmaceuticals etc are all OK?

A superfood like Mesquite, which incidentally has absolutely no evidence of being harmful in anyway, is now under attack. Yet, the aforementioned genetically modified food which has NOT been available pre 1997 is deemed as safe for consumption.

If you are wondering what Mesquite is, it’s a nutritious and versatile food, also used as gluten free flour which is full of vitamins and minerals.

Mesquite Powder comes from the entire Mesquite pod, including the seed, being ground – making it high in protein, rich in lysine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, and dietary fibre.

Mesquite is commonly used as a natural sweetener, and is a healthy Low-Glycaemic addition to cakes and biscuits, and is highly effective in balancing blood sugar.

This makes Mesquite of particularly great value if you are looking to balance your blood sugar levels. Mesquites sugar is in the form of fructose, which does not require insulin for metabolism. Furthermore Mesquite helps maintain a constant blood sugar level for a sustained period of time, thereby supporting the diet of diabetics, and helping to maintain a healthy insulin system in others.

To express your freedom of choice regarding what you eat, cast your vote here and click on VOTE in the top left corner, and select 3 as your voting option.
