An Introduction to Energy Medicine
By Dr Steven Ash, DD (Rockport), MBAcC (NPM), Cert.Ed.
Science has made massive leaps in producing findings that support the basic principles underpinning the science of energy medicine. Most of us have had experiences in our lives where we have witnessed strange and beautiful happenings with loved ones and friends. Yet the weight of orthodox thinking, conventional medicine and the so called placebo effect attempts to put these miracles into the realm of the absurd and ridiculous.
Microbiologists have, for the past three decades, had a huge problem to deal with. Their laboratory investigations have established that every living cell, every second, undergoes over 500,000 metabolic reactions.
Now, you and I are made up of trillions of cells, so each of us is a huge constant ferment of energy exchange, trillions upon trillions of micro chemical reactions every second, whether we are asleep or awake, day in and day out, and all in perfect synergy and unison. The problem that these biologists have had to explain is “what is the catalyst for all of these tiny, super high speed reactions in living tissues?”
Living Light
Dr Fritz Popp, a German microbiologist, has recently proved beyond doubt that living cells emit light, he has gone on to prove that the carbohydrates we ingest and break down in the cell to give us energy, and liberate the energy as photons of light (initially captured by the plants we eat during photosynthesis). These photons spin around in the cell, much like bees going from flower to flower, catalyzing the thousands of biochemical reactions. Therefore the fact that we eat sugars, starches and fats to give us energy can be seen as each of us eating condensed energy in the form of harnessed sunlight. Fantastic isn’t it?
For thousands of years the ancient civilizations of India and China have developed and recorded methods of healing, using energy as light in medicine. By the observation of countless individual healers, scrolls and texts show that living tissues can be encouraged to go into a healing reflex using the most subtle and light methods. The Chinese, with acupuncture, used fine needles of stone, and then gold and silver, and now steel to stimulate the light energy pathways under the skin and bring the body into self healing. In India they developed herbal, touch and energetic methods for balancing the chakras.
The Expanding Chakra Field
A chakra is an energy vortex on the midline of the body that carries specific frequencies of light and information from the outside world into the internal bodies physical structure. There are traditionally seven chakras (like the colours of a rainbow) in the human energy field; this has recently expanded into thirteen chakras (including four out of the body). Are you experiencing lots of changes in your life? Well that’s because you are experiencing lots of growth and transformation as these new chakras become active.
In the plant world, flowers are regarded as the most advanced part of the plant, because they capture the most up to date information coming in from the sun and cosmos and condense this into the seeds, which are the future generations of their species. If you take flowers and place them in water and then sit them for a few hours in the sun, the flower transfers, using the power of the sunlight, their ‘healing virtue’ into the water. This water becomes a very powerful natural energy medicine for the spirit, mind and body.
You can do the same with gemstones; place selected gemstones into water, sit them in sunlight for a few hours and the ‘healing virtue’ of the stone is transmitted into the water which now is a subtle natural medicine called an ‘Essence’.
The Rainbow Essences
We at Rainbow Essences have developed ways of blending the ‘healing virtues’ of these flower and gemstone essences so that they bring about balance and harmony in the spinning midline chakras and the fine microtubules of the acupuncture system covering the surface of the body. These essences are ‘living medicines’ that effect your negative psyche, thoughts and emotions before they become negative physical realities. This is the most subtle form of preventative medicine.
Modern science has given us the evidence we need to see ourselves as souls anchored into this thinking, feeling and seemingly solid physical body. That body is made from, and totally dependent upon, the power of living, energetic sunlight. Nature’s children are the plants and herbs and minerals that filter, anchor and contain this benevolent information. We know from the evidence of our ancestors that when we use pure water, sunlight and our own inherent knowledge we can assist change and healing. Add to this our experience as sensitive humans with the intent for bringing in good; and behold, miracles and transformation can happen in ours and other people’s lives. Not by each of us trying to convince, argue or answer objections but by allowing the choices to manifest that speak to and support each of us in our highest potential.
