Langdale’s Essence of Cinnamon is lovely blend of cinnamon and natural whole plant extracts that provides warmth when you’re feeling cold or chilled.  The therapeutic properties of cinnamon have been used for many years and are best known to help when the days get shorter, the weather turns cooler and colds and flu become more common.  Cinnamon Essence is sold in a 200ml bottle and comes with a measuring spoon.

For hundreds of years, the powerful effects of cinnamon have been known.  Apart from it’s pleasant, heady taste, wines and other doses of cinnamon were thought to give protection against a wide variety of illnesses.

Langdale’s Cinnamon Essence uses only the highest quality cinnamon leaf oil available and also combines the following three expectorant ingredients:
- Ipecac Tincture BP, which is extracted from the root of the South American Ipecacuanha plant, more commonly called Ipecac. The plant is a member of the rose family, and the extract has been used for many centuries by herbalists as a remedy for respiratory complaints.
- Squill Tincture BP is derived from the Squill, a plant native to parts of Europe, Asia and Africa. Squill extracts are amongst the oldest known to herbal medicine.

- Senega Liquid Extract, which is taken from the root of the Polygala Senega root, and was reputedly used to treat snake bite by the Seneca Indians of North America.

Directions for use:

• Take three times a day in warm milk, water or other hot beverage according to taste.
• Do not take without diluting
• Adults – One teaspoon (5ml)
• Children over 5 – Half a teaspoon (2.5ml)
