The ongoing campaign to ‘Save Our Supplements’ made an impact when postcards were collected from health stores, filled in and despatched to Westminster. MPs complained that they were unable to escape their daily postbag.
But we need to act again. Mr Dalli must have no doubt of the strength of feeling across Britain and that we are relying on him to find a way to keep our supplements available.

Experts agree that seaweed can be categorised as a ‘Superfood’

Whilst you may only think of seaweed as the stuff in the sea that gets caught on your feet when wading, this claim is being supported by investigations that reveal that seaweed, a variety of algae, contains more calcium than cheese, more fibre than in prunes and more iron than a steak – weight for weight!

Codex Alimentarius

Earlier this year I signed a petition asking the Prime Minister to
“oppose the adoption of the Codex Alimentarius (WHO/UN) proposals for restriction of the presently freely available herb/vitamin/mineral food supplements.”
Details of Petition were :
“The principle of self medication with herbal/vitamin/mineral food supplements would be restricted to ‘prescription only’ status, if the Codex Alimentarius is applied [...]
